The Ebro Foundation joins forces with the Gasol Foundation and the non-profit run by Chef José Andrés to alleviate the impact of COVID-19
The Ebro Foods Foundation, the Gasol Foundation and World Central Kitchen (WCK), the non-profit founded by Chef José Andrés, have partnered to provide healthy meals and educational resources to a large number of families hit by the coronavirus crisis. The initiative, which is mainly aimed at children and adolescents, has already served 8,000 families in Hospitalet (Barcelona) and will soon be doing the same in Madrid and Seville.
This partnership was formed with the intention of continuing with initiatives. All three organizations share a commitment to the empowering transformation of communities to help them live healthier lives. They also seek sustainable solutions aimed at reducing social inequalities while promoting healthy eating habits for children and their families.
For the Ebro Foundation, this alliance means reinforcing its commitment to promoting healthy nutrition, preventing obesity and encouraging physical activity for children and adolescents.
