Ebro Foods is one of 76 Spanish companies that have joined the Climate Ambition Accelerator, a six-month learning program to help organizations halve their global emissions by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050.

This initiative is driven by the UN Global Compact and involves 450 companies from 26 countries. The program mobilizes participating entities towards a carbon neutral economy by setting science-based targets.

During its six-month duration, companies will participate in various capacity building sessions to access best practices, take advantage of learning opportunities and exchange knowledge and experience with each other. Climate Ambition Accelerator is supported globally by Science Based Target and World Resources Institute, and nationally by Comunidad por el Clima and the Spanish Climate Change Office.

Participation in this program is part of the Ebro Group’s commitment to the environment to prevent and minimize our environmental impact. This commitment is focused on the constant search for eco-efficient solutions to reduce emissions and waste generation, as well as to optimize the consumption of water, energy and packaging materials.
